To crack down on the illegal tours and further regulate Sanya’s tourism market, authorities have suggested that stricter measures should be taken to deal with all illegal transportation tour vehicles in the near future.

Recently, concerns over tour bus safety have risen as the number of domestic and international tourists keeps increasing with the approach of the Spring Festival holiday.

Inspections should be tightened mainly on public places like hotels, scenic spots, the railway station and the airport where illegal tour bus lines used to provide one-day tours for tourists.

Without qualified certificates, any staff who continue to work with drivers who are poorly trained and don’t take tourists directly to destinations will also be punished for safety violations.
