Sanya’s major scenic spots issue maximum daily visitor capacities
Sanya’s scenic spots have recently issued their maximum daily visitor-carrying capacity in order to better control the flows of tourists during the peak season.
Last year, the national Tourism Administration asked all tourist hotspots in the country to calculate their respective maximum bearing capacities and formulate appropriate emergency plans to control the flow of visitors.
Once the tourist numbers approach the maximum carrying capacity, authorities in the scenic spots should make the visitors aware of this fact.
According to the new measures issued by the national Tourism Administration, the maximum visitor-carrying capacities at major scenic spots in Sanya are set as follows:
