1st batch of tourism-related operators in Sanya fined for price violations
The Sanya Price Control Bureau recently released, on their official website, a batch of tourism-related operators who have been fined for price violations after launching investigations and confirming the tourists’ complaints over their price-cheating practices.
There are 6 tourism supplier operators on the list, including 5 seafood restaurants and 1 tropical fruit vendor. These operators have been fined a total of 32,444 yuan for cheating customers.
In order to effectively protect the interests of tourists and maintain the price order of the sector, the government has dispatched over 1,000 staffs that conducted a series of regular inspections and undercover investigations. As of now, the government has distributed 34,426 price tags to 975 tropical fruit and seafood stalls.
Local residents and tourists who discover price violations in the catering industry can file a complaint by calling 12358.
