Sanya was selected as China’s Best Tourism Holiday Destination as well as the Best Tourist Destination for Family Tours for 2014 at the China Travelers’ Forum held by Ctrip.com in Lijiang, Yunnan Province on January 10th, 2015.
 
The conference attracted 300 tourism departments from home and abroad, 1,000 domestic well-known travelers and travel experts and travel media to participate.
 
With the intervention of networking, Wechat and other new media means, as of last November, the nationwide popular destinations received 3.62 million votes from the public.
 
As the number of family tours continues to grow, travel agencies and hotels are promoting their competitive summer vacation products to meet the needs of these family groups through suitable accommodations, activities and deals.
