Sanya’s first and largest fishing ship put into operation
Sanya’s first and largest fishing ship that is able to resist high-force winds was put into operation on January 1st, according to the reports.
The “Qiong Sanya 72106” fishing ship, built with an investment of 14.68 million yuan, has a total length of 58 meters, a width of 9 meters, and a maximum loading capacity of 700 tons. The vessel can hold 12 passengers.
The vessel features a large variety of advanced facilities, including a freezing storage device, and is able to resist strong winds and stay at sea for 70 days at a time.
According to the local fishermen, they are planning to build 10 similar fishing ships.
