Recent statistics have revealed that Sanya received 1.4 million domestic and overseas tourists in November, up 10.1% from the same period of last year, according to information from the relevant departments.
 
The tourist arrivals brought the city 2.343 billion yuan in revenue, an annual increase of 17.6%.
 
With regards to the hospitality industry, the hotel occupancy rate between January and November in the city stood at 59.7%.
 
Over the past 11 months, Sanya has seen a total of 12.26 million tourist arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 11.1%. The tourism revenue for the period totaled 25.6 billion yuan.
