Currently, the expansion work on Jiefang 2nd Road (road section linking Xinfeng Street and Heping Street) has been completed and the road was opened to traffic at its full capacity on December 23rd, which has greatly eased vehicle congestion downtown.

According to the plan, the 1,023-meter-long Xinfeng Street–Heping Street section of Jiefang Road was expanded from 20 meters to 27 meters, with two-direction four-lane runways, including a 3.5-meter-wide non-vehicle lane in each direction.

All drivers are being reminded of the changes and those who are found have vehicles parked on the road could face punishment in accordance with the relevant laws.
