150 new taxis come into service in Haitang Bay, Sanya
150 new taxis have recently been added to Sanya’s public transportation system, especially to cope with the cab shortage problem in the Haitang Bay area.
The new taxis are red and orange in color and easily recognizable.
The new taxis use dual-fueled engines. Besides, the taxis are also installed with a taxi-hailing service system.
The GPS positioning systems have been installed on the taxis to monitor each vehicle’s daily operation. Taxi drivers violating regulations will be fined or even fired.
Meanwhile, each of these 150 new taxis are required to operate in the Haitang Bay for at least two days every month.
