The wedding tourism market in Sanya is experiencing a boom in business, as many of the city’s hotels have become popular destinations for wedding photo shoots and wedding celebrations.
 
In recent months, the Pullman Oceanview Sanya Bay Resort & Spa has received over 30 couples who have had their wedding photographs taken here every month and the number of wedding receptions taking place at the resort has doubled compared to the same period of 2013.
 
As the number of wedding and honeymoon tours continues to grow, hotels are promoting competitive themed wedding packages to meet the needs of these couples through suitable accommodations, activities and deals.
 
An island-wide selection campaign for the top 10 wedding products, launched by Hainan Tourism Development Commission and the local wedding related-businesses, was unveiled recently, aiming to promote brand-building of the local wedding tourism market.
