Sanya is expected to be the most popular domestic tourist destination during the winter season this year as tourists flood into the city for the winter holiday.

 

The number of travelers to Nanshan Tourism Culture Zone has been increasing daily since Sanya entered its peak tourist season. At present, the scenic spot in receiving an average of 11,000 people daily.  

 

Hotels in Sanya have also seen their occupancy rates booming due to the increase of tourists in the winter holiday, and the number will surge for sure during the Spring Festival holiday.

 

Besides, insiders said MICE tourism is another stimulator adding to the growing number of tourist arrivals since December.
