A subsidy program was launched by the Sanya government for the aviation sector this year to further boost its tourism industry
development.
 
It’s been reported that from January to June this year, the Sanya municipal government allocated a total of 105.48 million yuan in financial supports to the aviation sector.
 
Driven by awarding measures and favorable policies in the aviation sector, Sanya has so far attracted more than 13.51 million passengers this year as of December 3rd.
 
The passenger throughput of Sanya Phoenix International Airport is expected to hit 14.3 million, marking the 4th consecutive year of having its annual passenger volume exceed 10 million.
