With the approaching of the New Year and Spring Festival holidays, Sanya’s traffic chief has vowed to crack down on the illegal operation of tour vehicles in the city.
 
As of November, a total of 331 vehicles have been seized over illegal tourism operations across the city this year.
 
Several departments will tighten inspections mainly on public places like hotels, scenic spots, railway stations and the airport, where illegal tour vehicles used to provide one-day tours for tourists.Operators who are found using unqualified tour vehicles will face a fine between 30,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan.
