Many vendors have been found running barbecue stands at night along a section of Sanya Bay, creating environmental concerns.

At night, many tourists and residents crowd the beach and enjoy the barbecue, but trash is left behind all over the beach the next day, severely impairing the beauty of the beach and causing a burden to the cleaning staff.

Although ban signs on barbecue stands on the beach are posted in Sanya Bay, those notices have failed to stop the disordered business.

The city’s government and residents have long been concerned about the beach environment and landscape in Sanya Bay. After years of efforts to improve its ecological condition, Sanya Bay has become much cleaner and clearer, making it a nice place for jogging, sightseeing and relaxing.

Residents hope the local government can strictly implement the BBQ ban system so that everyone can obey the rules to ensure the sustainability of cleanliness along the beach.
