Haitang Bay recently unveiled plans to offer rewards to tour operators that help boost the development of the tourism industry in the region in 2014.  
 
The coverage of the rewards includes MICE tours, wedding tours as well as duty-free shopping tours.
 
Travel agents that help boost regional hotel occupancy rates will receive certain rewards. The monthly reward for each travel agent will not exceed RMB 100,000
 
According to the reward scheme, the rewards for the top three top-performing travel agents transporting more than 200 visitors to the Haitang Bay Duty-free Shopping Center are RMB 20,000, RMB 10,000 and RMB 8,000, respectively.
