The 1st Sanya ‘Yongle Cup’ Invitational Fishing Tournament kicked off on November 22nd at the Yongmao Leisure Fishing Training Base of Nanding Reservoir, Nanding Village in Jiyang Township.

Fishing has become a rising sport & tourism event in China. With better economic conditions and advanced fishing tackle, the event site allowed anglers to leisurely angle on the timber boardwalk while enjoying the pleasant surrounding landscape. The total prizes for this competition totaled RMB 360,000.

Sanya boasts one of the best places in the world for anglers to enjoy all the excitement and satisfaction of fishing. The event was undertaken by the Hainan Fishing Association and the Sanya Yongmao Leisure Fishing Training Base.
