Sanya is set to host a series of cultural events including the 15th Hainan Carnival, the 18th Sanya International Wedding Festival and the Sanya Destination Wedding Expo in the month of December.

The 15th Hainan Carnival will kick off on December 12th and run through December 14th. Other celebratory activities will be held at supporting venues across the island including Sanya, Danzhou, Wanning and Qiongzhong.

The 18th Sanya Tianyahaijiao Int’l Wedding Festival is set to be held this year from December 12th-16th. This year, the highlights of the wedding festival include a traditional wedding ceremony with the style of the Han and Tang dynasties and a large-scale senior group wedding ceremony.

The 2014 Sanya Destination Wedding Expo is scheduled to take place at the International Convention Center at the Mangrove Tree Resort World Sanya Bay from December 13th to 14th. The event consists of three themed activities: a China Wedding Industry Summit, a Sanya Destination Wedding Expo Image Show and a 2014 Wedding Trade Fair.
