Sanya has been chosen as the host venue for the 2015 ISAF (International Sailing Federation) Annual Conference, which will take place November 1st-7th next year.

The announcement came at the 2014 ISAF Annual Conference held in Palma de Mallorca, Spain from November 1st-8th, 2014.

The success in winning the bid is the result of the hard work of the local government in promoting sailing in Sanya and the fast development of Sanya’s sailing market.

To better promote Sanya on the world map, Sanya organized a promotional campaign for the ISAF Annual Conference, which highlighted the city’s abundant marine resources, good natural environment for water sports as well as the its rich experience in hosting international sailing events over the past 5 years.

This premier sailing conference event is expected to attract delegates from all over the world to Sanya for a program of meetings on the future of the sport of sailing.
