Largest patrol vessel in South Hainan to put in service in Sanya
According to the Sanya Marine Board, the largest maritime patrol ship ‘Haixun 1103’ was officially listed with the Sanya Marine Board on November 6th, 2014. This means it can now carry out patrol missions even during rough sea conditions.
The ship will incorporate marine inspection and rescue functions within 50 nautical miles off Sanya’s waters. It will carry out missions regarding maritime inspection, safety monitoring, and rescue.
The patrol vessel is 64 meters in length, 10 meters in width, and weighs 830 tons. The ship can reach a rated speed of 18 knots and sail for 1,800 nautical miles without refueling. It boasts highly advanced mobility and is able to resist strong winds
