Sanya plans to build 6 automatic air quality monitoring stations in 2014
Sanya has completed installation of a new air quality monitoring station at the Yacheng Creative Industry Park, which is expected to be put into operation in early November.
The other 4 air quality monitoring stations in operation are located in the Hexi and Hedong districts, Haitang Bay and Luhuitou area.
The real-time air quality information released includes the monitoring data of levels of inhalable participates (PM 10), PM 2.5 pollution particles, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and ozone.
Besides, one more air quality station is located in Yalong Bay and will be put into use soon, bringing the total number of air monitoring stations in the city to 6.
