Emerging tourism products cause Sanya tours to rise in popularity

Sanya Romance Park, a cultural tourism park in Sanya, received nearly 17 million visitors within one year of its opening.

Sanya has been making greater efforts to promote its marine tourism in recent years. The seawater entertainment options like yachting, cruises, sailing, diving, surfing and fishing are available to create enough fun and excitement for lovers.

Statistics from the Sanya Port Administration shows that 118 cruise ships docked at the Sanya terminal, bringing more than 120,000 passengers in the first half of this year.
 
Duty-free shopping in Sanya still remains very popular. During the National Day holiday, Haitang Bay received 138,500 visitors. The duty-free shopping options also contributed to a rapid rise in the tourist reception amount and the revenue of tourism in the region. In the same period, the hotel occupancy rate in Haitang Bay reached 77.99%, topping all the major bays in Sanya.
