Sanya Railway Station expected to see 134K passenger during 7-day holiday
According to the Sanya Railway Station, the 2014 National Day Holiday travel peak began on September 28 and will end on October 7, bringing a large amount of passengers to the station. An estimated 134,500 passengers are expected to travel through the Sanya Railway Station during the period.
The majority of the passenger flow will be tourist flow, family-visit flow, student flow, and migrant worker flow.
According to analysts, Sanya Railway Station is expected to experience its biggest daily passenger flow of golden week on the days of September 28 and October 7. During the period, the biggest passenger flow of the regular-speed trains is expected to exceed 550 people and the biggest passenger flow of the Hainan East Loop Line is expected to reach 18,000 people.
