Sanya is always one of most popular domestic tourist destinations during the National Day holiday as tourists flood into the tropical city to enjoy its coastal charms.

As the National Day holiday approaches, the number of domestic tourists heading to Sanya has soared, based on information of travel bookings on some well-known domestic travel portals.

The online booking data shows that there has been a 40% increase recently in travel packages booked to Sanya compared to the same period of last year. Individual tours, family tours and couple’s tours seem to be increasingly popular in Sanya during this period.

Many hotels in Haitang Bay have begun collaborating with Asia’s largest duty free shopping center to offer promotions for tourists in order to complement their guest’s travel experience in Haitang Bay.

Besides, many travel agents have also developed some special one-day tours to neighboring cities to fully demonstrate the unique natural scenery and cultural fun available in and around Sanya.
