Road construction linking Fenghuang Road and the entrance gate of Phoenix Hill Park in Sanya is underway and is expected to be completed at the end of 2014.

The project starts from the intersection of Xinfeng Road and Fenghuang Road, opposite the Sanya Beauty Crown Center, to the entrance gate of Phoenix Hill Park, and its end connects with Hongsha Tunnel.

As one of the key projects to improve the city’s road construction, this road section linking with Hongsha Tunnel will allow vehicles to get quick access to Xinfeng Street to enter downtown.

Besides, it will greatly alleviate the traffic pressure on Sanya’s Yingbin Road and Yuya Road during the peak tourism season.

Meanwhile, the renovation work on Chunguang Road is underway. The project involves a stretch of 3,115 meters from Fenghuang Road to Yingbin Road and is expected to be totally opened to traffic at the end of this year.
