Haikou is set to hold more than 200 exhibition activities in 2015, aiming to build the city into a capital of conferences and exhibitions. 

As an emerging exhibition city, Haikou has enjoyed rapid growth in its exhibition sector in recent years, thanks to supportive policies and promotional activities launched by the local government. 

 

Haikou won the Golden Dolphin Award, the most authoritative and prestigious annual award for the exhibition industry in China, for 3 consecutive years.

 

From 2011-2014, Haikou held a total of 636 convention and exhibition activities. The number of exhibitions held in Haikou has been growing by more than 25% year-on-year.

 

Other big festivals are scheduled to be held in Haikou in 2015, including the 11th China International Event Festival and the 2015 International Boat Show and Festival (IBSF 2015).
