Sanya’s Haitang Bay to form 45-minute tourism circle

According to the Haitang Bay tourism authorities, Haitang Bay is expected to form a 45-minute tourism circle as the region seeks to build its own tourism characteristics to attract more visitors.

The 45-minute tourism circle features not only an array of excellent tourism attractions in Haitang Bay including the Nantian Hotsprings, Tielu Port, Wuzhizhou Island and Coconut Island, but also other tourism resources that are in the neighboring regions, such as Yanoda, Binglanggu Valley, Mt. Qixianling in Baoting, and Nanwan Monkey Island in Lingshui County.

A group of 15 travel writers and bloggers from around China were invited to take part in this special treat showcasing Haitang Bay’s thriving tourism resources.

The 45-mimute-long tour offers a diversity of tourism resources including rainforests, hot springs, hiking, and ethnic minority culture tours, all of which complement Haitang Bay’s ocean and beach theme.

Statistics showed that in the first 8 months of this year, the hotels and scenic spots in the region received more than 2.02 million tourist arrivals and the tourism revenue of the area totaled 850 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43%.
