A renovation project was started on Ronggen Bridge over Sanya River recently.

The existing bridge has shown signs of metal fatigue in recent years and some of the components are nearing the end of their service life. Therefore, the decision to renovate the bridge was approved this year.

The new bridge, involving an investment of 40 million yuan, is designed to be 80 meters long and 30 meters wide, with 6 two-way lanes. The project also covers many other areas of work including greenery, sewage and rainwater separation and electricity facilities.
