Haitang Bay is on its way to becoming a new paradise resort in Sanya with a high-end hotel cluster, an advanced medical hospital and world-class duty free shopping now operating in the region.

 

Haitang Bay, as the island’s largest tourism development zone, has a planning area of 100 square meters.

 

At present, more than 10 high-end hotels have begun operation along the coastline of Haitang Bay, with a capacity of accommodating 1.5 million tourists annually.

 

Meanwhile, an investment of 12.55 billion yuan will be poured into a variety of projects in the region this year.

 

The massive growth in investment coupled with an increased focus by the Hainan Government on National Coast as a strategic priority, will help to drive growing leisure and business travel, propelling Hainan onto the world stage as a leading international tourism destination.
