Sanya to build 2 new bridges over Sanya River to ease traffic pressure
Sanya plans to build 2 new bridges over Sanya River this year to help share the ever-increasing volume of vehicles crossing the river.
Construction work on the two bridges is set to start this October and will likely be completed by the end of 2015.
The Yuejin Bridge, linking the intersection of Hexi Road and Yuejin Road to Hedong Road, will be 330 meters in length and 34 meters in width.
The Yueming Bridge, linking Hexi Road and Chuanbei Road, will be 330 meters long and 34 meters wide with dual two-lane roadways. Upon its completion, the bridge will help ease the traffic connecting Hexi and Hedong districts and take on more of the city’s vehicle traffic on Yingbin Road and Xinfeng Road
