To better regulate the tourism market, the Sanya government launched a recognition system of trusted business operators in 2012, and a total of 684 business operators had qualified for the title for their good faith management by the end of this August.

These trusted business operators cover various businesses including restaurants, hotels, scenic spots, travel agencies, wedding photographers, B&B inns, tourism specialty stores and supermarkets.

To cultivate a good environment for tourism consumption, the local government will set up a long-term supervision system and operators found violating the rules will have their trusted placards revoked and will be punished.
