According to the Sanya Urban Planning Bureau, the section of road linking Jiefang 4th Road and Fenghuang Road will be upgraded in the near future.

Residents often complain that this road section is susceptible to flash flooding, especially during days with heavy rain, causing many motorists and drivers to have to slow down significantly and drive cautiously in these dangerous situations around this area of the city.

As one of the key infrastructure projects in Sanya, the road reconstruction will involve a stretch of 4,638 meters, with an investment of 330 million yuan. The road upgrade also includes landscaping, lighting and drainage engineering modifications.
