Int’l Convention Center to open at Mangrove Tree Resort in Sanya Bay
To boost the development of Sanya’s diverse tourism resources, an international convention center at the Mangrove Tree Resort World Sanya Bay will be completed in September and put into operation soon thereafter.
As a new and important supporting facility in Sanya, the 12,000-sqm convention center will boast a giant banquet hall which is large enough to accommodate 5,000 people, as well as two other conference rooms large enough to seat 4,000 people total.
The Mangrove Tree Resort World Sanya Bay will be an integrated resort, where convention space and retail outlets operate together.
Other projects currently under construction at the Int’l Convention Center include a 4,000-sqm art gallery, a 360-degree 3D panoramic screen, a 2,200-sqm wedding celebration square, a 40,000-sqm business street and a 33,000-sqm water park
