The Shangri-La Sanya Resort & Spa Hainan, the first luxury resort in mainland China, is set to open on September 24th, 2014.

Occupying a land area of 180,000 square meters in Haitang Bay, the resort is a pleasant 40-minute drive from both the island’s downtown area and the Sanya Phoenix International Airport.

The hotel offers 340 elegant and spacious guestrooms and 8 villas. All the guestrooms feature a panoramic view of mountains or the white beach of Haitang Bay, ideal for leisure travelers and business groups.

The resort also offers diners cuisine that is inspired by multicultural dining concepts from 6 food and beverage outlets and a meeting space that spreads across 2 levels of the resort with a total area of 3,151 square meters.

Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan-Superior Sea View Room Reservations are now open to arrivals from 28 September. An introductory rate of RMB 988 per night (plus a 15% service charge) is available until 31 December 2014.
