According to the Sanya Tourism Development Commission, the Sanya government plans to invest 6.8 million yuan to build 5 more visitor information centers around the city.

The 5 visitor information centers will be located at the Sanya Railway Station, Jiyang Park, the City Playground Square at Chunyuan Road, Haiyue Square and Yalong Bay Central Square.

At present, the construction of the 5 visitor information centers is underway and the first 4 centers are expected to be put into operation at the end of this year.

These visitor information centres will be jointly operated by the government and enterprises, integrating the functions of information enquiry, tourist complaint handling and scenic spot displays advertisements.
