Haikou and Sanya among China’s top 100 happiest cities in 2014
A nationwide selection of the happiest cities in mainland China in 2014 was launched in Beijing on July 29th, Haikou and Sanya have been selected among the list of the top 100 happiest cities in the country.
This year’s public survey is co-conducted by Oriental outlook magazine and the China Association of Mayors.
The evaluating standard includes various aspects of people’s lives, such as pace of life, environment, housing, education and transportation. living convenience, culture and entertainment, architectural aesthetics, safety, and more.
91 other cities, like Hangzhou, Tianjin Changsha, Chengdu, Ningbo, Dalian, Xiamen, Zhuhai, Shenzhen and Xi’an, were included on the list.
