The hotels and scenic spots in Haitang Bay welcomed a total of 1.55 million international and domestic tourists in the first half of this year and the total tourism revenue reached 675 million yuan, according to the Haitang Bay Management Committee.

To build Haitang Bay into a popular MICE tourism destination, the local government granted certain rewards to its hospitality and travel agent sectors. In the first six months of this year, hotels in Haitang Bay received 290 MICE and wedding celebration groups.

As of now, there are a total of 11 frontline seaview hotels operating on the 22-kilometer coastline of Haitang Bay, helping it become a preferred destination for MICE tourism.

Besides, hotels like Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay, The Royal Begonia, and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton are rising in popularity for wedding celebrations.
