Sanya’s GDP increases 4.1% to RMB 19.1 billion in H1 of 2014
Hainan saw its GDP rise 8% year on year to 167.5 billion yuan in the first half of this year, according to the latest statistics released by the Hainan Statistics Bureau.
According to the statistics, 42.39 billion of the GDP was generated by the primary sector, reflecting a year on year increase of 5%. Meanwhile the province’s secondary sector and the tertiary sector generated 44.58 billion yuan and 80.6 billion yuan in GDP, an increase of 10.4% and 8% over the previous year, respectively.
Besides, Sanya’s GDP in the first half of this year reached 19.1 billion yuan, a growth rate of 4.1% compared with the same period of last year, according to the provincial statistics bureau.
Among them, the striving tourism industry and real estate sector are playing important supportive roles in the city’s economy
