With summer at its peak, Sanya is becoming a popular summer destination for individual and group tours across the nation. The increasing tourist arrival figures during the summer show that water-related tourism in Sanya has entered its peak.  
 
According to the data released by Ctrip.com, the number of individual and group tour tourists to Sanya reached more than 10,000 since July, increased 50% compared to the month earlier.
The cost for a 5-day Sanya private tour package for July and August usually starts from around 2,600 yuan and a 5-day group tour to Sanya during the period is usually quoted from 3,800 yuan.
 
As a seaside tourist destination, Sanya has attracted a large number of tourists to escape the summer heat in mainland China and enjoy a variety of fun water activities.
