Sea-related tourism operating enterprises and seaside hotels in Sanya have been required to suspend all marine activities starting July 17th, in order to take precautions against the impact of the incoming super typhoon Rammasun.

According to the meteorological department, heavy rain began to impact the island on July 18th due to the super typhoon.

During the typhoon period, the Sanya Tourism Development Commission has informed all the tourism operating enterprises to take necessary measures to prevent waterlogging disasters. The hotels in the city have began placing typhoon warning signs in their lobbies, and the sea-related tourism operating enterprises have started putting typhoon warning signs at beaches, according to the report
