Sanya Water Park, the city’s first large-scale water park, is scheduled to open on a trial run basis in October 2014. The aquatic amusement facilities have already been set up.

Located in the Jiyang Town area, the project covers a land area of 110,000 square meters, involving an investment of 300 million yuan. It is designed to be the only top water park in China that is open all year round.

The water park boasts a miniature tropical mountainous landscape, offers 10 different exciting rides/aquatic activities including a variety of waterslides, kids’ water pools, wave-making pools and therapeutic pools, and more.

The park is expected to become a new hot tourist spot in Sanya when it goes into full operation this year.
