Passengers travelling in Sanya now have more options for taxi-hailing with the recemt introduction of self-service taxi-hailing devices at hotels across the city.

As of now, a total of 18 hotels have installed the self-service taxi-hailing devices.

With the new devices, passengers at these hotels only need to input their telephone number to access the service. Once the system is put into service, it will be able to help passengers quickly locate and hail nearby taxis.

In the first half of this year, about 2,000 taxi orders were successfully made via this kind of service.

Currently, there are 1,150 taxis including 200 radio taxis available for the taxi-hailing service.
