2014 Sanya summer tourism promotion campaign concludes in Guangzhou
The 42-day Sanya summer tourism promotion campaign 2014 at 12 major domestic tourist source cities successfully concluded in Guangzhou on June 7th.
The annual Sanya summer tourism promotion campaign originated in 2007, and has been successfully held for 7 consecutive years since then.
In June-August 2013, Sanya received 2.52 million tourist arrivals and generated 4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.04% compared to that of 2007, and the tourism revenue grew 17.15% from the same period of 2007 to 406 million yuan.
Guangzhou is a major tourist source city for Sanya, This year, Sanya has joined hands with 6 neighboring cities including Baoting, Wuzhishan, Wanning and Dongfang to promote over 100 summer tourism products and to enrich Sanya’s tourism experience
