A new general plan to build Yazhou Bay into a new zone in southern Sanya has been approved by experts.

The construction plan for Yazhou Bay will realize five goals: a model area for low-carbon travel, a pilot zone for land-ocean management, a growth belt for regional economy, a cluster for emerging industries and a historic and cultural city.

So far, Creative New Town project in Yazhou Bay has attracted more than 20 enterprises to settle in to promote the high-end intelligent industry facility in the region.

A new high-end hotel, the G Charlton Hotels & Resorts Sanya Yazhou Bay, was opened to guests recently, helping to boost the area’s development.
