7 road sections are now being renovated in Sanya. The renovations are designed to ease the city’s traffic jams.

The renovation project of Sanya Bay Road section, starting from Haiyue Square to Haihong Square, is going smoothly. The project covers a total length of 6,700 meters and is expected to be finished in September.

In addition, 10 bus stops will be added to the area and workers will check all the well-lids and set up new road markings.

Other current road projects include the reconstruction of Chunguang Road, Haikong Road, Xincheng East Road in Sanya Bay, and Sanya Airport’s road-expansion, which spans a total length of 10.2 km.
