Sanya’s authorities in recent months have launched a special campaign to regulate the many various tourism operations in Hedong District to further clean up the city’s tourism market.

The specialized campaign mainly focused on seafood and tropical fruit stalls at Dadonghai, Hongsha, Luhuitou, Ronggen Market, Gangmen Community and Shangpinjie Street.

Tourism operations with serious problems will not only have their business licenses revoked but will also be investigated for legal issues.

As of now, a total of 37 tropical stalls were found to be operating illegally in Hedong District, and have had their business suspended. In addition, 326 unqualified electronic scales have been confiscated
