The first aviation fuel bonded warehouse in Hainan has been put into use in Sanya Phoenix International Airport as part of its strategy to push forward the city’s aviation industry.
 
The aviation fuel bonded warehouse, which is the 13th of its kind in China, will allow the passenger and cargo flights from Sanya to international destinations to enjoy preferential oil prices.
 
Sanya has been paying great attention to the development of local aviation industry in recent years.
 
Zhou Gaoming, the deputy mayor of Sanya, said the set-up of the aviation fuel bonded warehouse will greatly reduce the airlines’ fuel cost, but also help encourage airlines companies to launch international flights in Sanya, which will greatly accelerate the development of the city’s aviation industry.
