Skytrax, the world’s most prestigious rating agency for aviation, released its list of rankings for 4-star airports on June 26th. Sanya Phoenix International Airport was listed 15th best in the world and 4th in China this year.

Sanya Phoenix Airport has actively participated in the star rating program of Skytrax and made timely improvements since 2011.

The airport has launched 168 domestic and internaitonal air routes and the annual passenger throughput and cargo and mail throughput have seen a year-on-year increase of 40%.

As of now, the passenger throughput of Sanya Phoenix Airport has reached 6.73 million and is expected to hit 14 million by the end of this year.
