Hainan’s first sea helicopter operated by Yalong General Airways Ltd. received its airworthiness certification from China’s Aviation Bureau after completing a successful test in Sanya Bay on June 22.

Hainan’s first sea helicopter operated by Yalong General Airways Ltd. received its airworthiness certification from China’s Aviation Bureau after completing a successful test in Sanya Bay on June 22nd required before it can be put into commercial use.

Yalong General Airways Ltd plans to have three such kinds of sea helicopters in the Hainan market in the near future, offering low-altitude sightseeing tours to Xisha Island, Haikou and other destinations.

The sea helicopters can fly about 600 kilometers after full refueling.

Aside from air travel, these sea helicopters will also be capable of being used for other purposes, such as marine emergency rescues.
