Shangri-La Sanya Haitang Bay is going to open for business this year. It is the second Shangri-La resort in Hainan following the launch of a Haikou hotel conveniently located next to the Hainan International Exhibition Center which opened in 2012.

The property, set among landscaped gardens along the coastline of Haitang Bay, occupies a land area of 178,000 sqm and will be Shangri-La’s first beach resort in China.

The hotel offers 340 guest rooms and suites as well as 8 private villas, and each room is equipped with the most luxurious amenities.

The hotel features 6 restaurants and bars, and a leisure area which offers a luxurious spa and a large outdoor swimming pool.

It also aims to set a new bar in Hainan for meeting and events with a 1,500-sqm grand multi-functional luxury ballroom and ten meeting rooms.
