At the 6th Annual World Ocean Day held on June 8th, a marine enhancement campaign was jointly launched by the Sanya Blue Ocean Protection Association (BOPA) and the Sanya government in Dadonghai Beach to encourage people to protect the ocean.

During the activity, 30,000 golden pomfret and shrimp seedlings were released into the Wuzhizhou Island area by more than 100 volunteers wearing matching red uniforms.

These volunteers mainly came from Sanya universities, the Sanya Blue Ocean Protection Association, as well as cadres and soldiers stationed in Sanya.

It is the 6th consecutive year that the association has carried out a series of activities on ocean protection, calling for the public to pay more attention to the ocean environment and environmental protection by whitewashing trees, cleaning rivers and garbage in the sea, and spreading environmental protection knowledge.
