A summer tourism promotional campaign for weddings and honeymoons was staged at the 2014 10th Chengdu Wedding Expo on May 31st-June 1st to promote Sanya as a wedding paradise.

Sanya’s 20 wedding celebration companies consisting of star-rated hotels, travel agencies, tourism spots and wedding photography firms attended the two-day gathering.

The delegation highlighted 10 themed-wedding photography products, 6 honeymoon-themed packages and 9 wedding-themed services, as well as Sanya’s top 50 wedding destinations, garnering a great deal of attention from visitors and media alike.

To better promote Sanya as a ‘Wedding Destination and Honeymoon Paradise’, an attractive scheme for newlyweds was also unveiled at the event. Newly-wed couples with marriage certificates are able to enjoy buy-one-get-one-free tickets at Sanya’s scenic spots as well as a 10% discount for shopping and catering in Sanya.

Besides, the Sanya Tourism Development Commission will continue Sanya’s wedding promotion at the 2014 Shanghai Wedding Expo which is to be held in July this year.
